How can I book a Keshcology act for a concert, radio show, etc?
Easy! Just contact us through the form lower down this page – or through our Twitter page, our blog, or our individual Facebook accounts. It’s pretty easy to find one of us.

I’d like to license a piece of Keshcology music.
Also easy! Much of our music is available under a Creative Commons license, and we’d love it if you want to use one of our pieces in your movie/documentary/stage show/radio show/podcast. A small donation would be appreciated, if you can afford it. Please get in touch through the Contact page, our Twitter/Bandcamp/etc etc, and we’ll get back to you promptly.

I’d like to find a suitable piece of Keshcology music for my project.
Perhaps best to start with our “Filmmaker’s Reference Kit” albums – our own version of KPM, you might say! Here’s Volume 1 and here’s Volume 2. Then work outwards to “Unaccentuated“, and beyond. There are instrumentals all through our back catalogue.

What is Bleak House?
It’s a project we do that involves swirly, grainy, instrumental library music. We brought out a 12-track album, “Music From The Middle Room“, in 2011, with a follow-up in 2019.

Is Luke Sample a guru?
Yes, of course Luke Sample is a guru. Those eyes speak volumes! However, you’re possibly thinking of another Luke Sample. Our Luke is willing to advise on flute technique, but he’s not a full-time lifestyle guru.

Where does the name Keshco come from?
It’s meant to sound like a business. Keshco music is so varied that it’s like the stock in a little newsagents, where you’re never sure what you’ll find on the shelves. As it turns out, there are many types of Keshco around the world, from vending machine repair to life skills consulting, business services to tractor parts. There’s also the town of Kesh in Ireland. It’s also meant to sound pleasing off the tongue. Try it slowly: Keshhhhh-Co. Keshhhhh-Co. It pleased us at the age of 14, so we used it. Some silly people have asked when will we change the name. Yet there’s no problem calling an act Ke$ha? (The cheek of it – she even has a dollar symbol!)

Where can I buy Keshcology music online?
You can buy older CDs from us; or for the recent releases, try our label page on Bandcamp. CD Baby and Amazon also sell Deforestation of Dak, if you really want to buy the same product from someone else 😉

Since 2015, many of our EPs are now available digitally on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Rdio, Deezer, and Amazon, so you can grab them that way if you find it preferable.

Where can I buy Keshcology music in person?
You can buy it from us, at a gig; if you live in Oxford you could go to the Truck Store where they have a couple of our CDs (though they then refused to stock our tapes, which was a letdown); several shops stock our cassettes.

What else can I buy?
Robert has a growing selection of cracking models available and can make things to order, under the guise of Bob Art Models. He also has a lot of paintings and sketches available. He ran a stall on Todmorden indoor market in Yorkshire, England for a while, and usually has some project bubbling away. Bob brought out an art book in tribute to iconic designer Storm Thorgerson in 2019. His Twitter feed is here and his Instagram is here.

Andy has a page on Redbubble, the print-on-demand site, as Circuitsnap. He looks after another one, MoMoJaJa, which is a family endeavour (their Twitter is here). Tons of designs.

How else can I support Keshcology?
Each play of our music on SpotifyGoogle Play All AccessAmazon Music Unlimited and similar earns us money. Not much – it works out at perhaps 1/6 of a penny per play on Spotify, closer to 1/4 of a penny per play on Google Play All Access and half a penny on Amazon Music Unlimited. But, you know, it all adds up. If you would like to stream our music during your day or even whilst you sleep (at a suitable volume), that would help fund our continued endeavours and would be greatly appreciated.
